I read pretty much anything, from fantasy (City of Stairs by Robert Jackson Bennett) to romance (Bared to You by Sylvia Day) to classics (Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad).  The only genres I don't read are self-help and comic books/graphic novels.

Moonshell Beach (Shelter Bay, #4) by JoAnn Ross

Moonshell Beach - JoAnn Ross

13/06 - Not nearly as good as the other Shelter Bay books.  The story didn't focus on JT and Mary's story enough, there was too much time spent on wrapping up previous couples' stories and creating the beginning of new ones for future books.  The romance was disappointing, not long enough and not particularly interesting.  It was like Ross wasn't all that interested in writing the two very short scenes, like they were throwaway scenes - it's a romance book so it has to have a romance scene, doesn't mean the author has to put any effort into it.  If you're a fan of the series I would almost recommend you skip this one, otherwise you might feel like giving up the series altogether and, hopefully considering the quality of the previous books, that would be a shame.
