I read pretty much anything, from fantasy (City of Stairs by Robert Jackson Bennett) to romance (Bared to You by Sylvia Day) to classics (Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad). The only genres I don't read are self-help and comic books/graphic novels.
10/5 - I thought Defiant was great, possibly even better than the first book in the series - Iain's book. I haven't read the Morgan's book, but for this series it doesn't matter. Morgan and Iain and their wives are only peripherally mentioned and if you don't know anything of the scenes they were involved in it won't effect your enjoyment of this book, it'll just whet your appetite to read the ones you've missed. Now the only book missing is Joseph's book, I would really like to see him happily married like his MacKinnon brothers. I hate the cover, it has a very 80s look about it. If you squint you can almost see an 80s rocker with a bad perm a la Bon Jovi (don't get me wrong, I love them but they did have dreadful hair), Poison or Guns n Roses.
