I read pretty much anything, from fantasy (City of Stairs by Robert Jackson Bennett) to romance (Bared to You by Sylvia Day) to classics (Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad). The only genres I don't read are self-help and comic books/graphic novels.
7/09 - Fantastically hot, sexy romance. This was the first Byrd book I've read, but I'm already searching my local library catalogue for more of her books. I loved Ben's fierce possessiveness for Reese and his violent reaction to the idea that she might be injured. I know it would have been completely unrealistic for him to immediately recognise his feelings as love especially since he had been characterised as a 'keep-it-casual' kind of guy, but I got a little irritated with the constant doubt running through Ben's mind about what his feelings meant. I enjoyed this so much that as soon as I finished it I wanted to start it all over again, and I would have except I had other, unread books waiting.
