I read pretty much anything, from fantasy (City of Stairs by Robert Jackson Bennett) to romance (Bared to You by Sylvia Day) to classics (Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad). The only genres I don't read are self-help and comic books/graphic novels.
1/08 - Last Chance Christmas had an enjoyable plot but it wasn't much of a romance. I didn't feel much of anything between the two main characters, in fact I felt more of a connection between Liz and David - Stone's oldest daughter and the new boy in town. The murder mystery and the Sorrowful Angel were more interesting than the relationship between Lark and Stone. So, while I liked the story, when I start reading a romance, I expect there to be some actual romance and Last Chance Christmas just didn't work romantically for me. I would have enjoyed it more if I hadn't been looking for romance.
